Film Africa, London’s largest festival of African cinema, is delighted to announce that it is accepting film submissions for its 2013 festival edition. Film Africa 2013 will take place from Friday 1st to Sunday 10th November at venues across London.

They are currently accepting submissions for all Film Africa categories, including feature length fiction films, documentaries, experimental and short films by either African filmmakers living in Africa or in the Diaspora or films by non-African filmmakers about Africa.

If you would like to submit your film to be considered for Film Africa 2013, please either send a vimeo link to info@filmafrica.org.uk or a DVD screener by post to the following address:

When making your submission, please include a cover letter introducing yourself and your film and, most importantly, include an email address for correspondence.

Please note that due to the high volume of films under consideration, we are unable to respond to every individual submission, and will only inform you if your film has been selected. We are also unable to return screeners. Film Africa respects filmmakers’ copyright and will take all precautions to ensure that your film remains safe from piracy.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 8th July 2013.
